Cashmaster Omega A Operating Instructions

The Cashmaster Cash scale is to replace counting money by hand.  The Cashmaster Cash scale does not change or alter the current cash handling procedures.

Counting a Register or till:

Turn machine on by pressing <on/zero> key

1. Press <menu> button and select 2 = Free mode
2. Place empty coin scoop on scale to make sure right hand side of display shows zeros.  (If no reading is displayed or a positive value is given, press <on/zero> key to get the zero’s on the right side of display)
3. Count all loose denominations of coin. Make sure that you are putting on what the machine is asking for. (i.e.  1c=penny’s etc.)
4. Once the machine has displayed “VERIFY ROLL” press the denomination of roll to be counted.  The machine will display “NUMBER OF ROLLS” enter the number of rolls you have and press enter.  Press the next denomination of roll to be entered and repeat this process.  The dollar value of the rolled coin is being entered into the grand total.  Continue to do this until all of the rolls have been accounted for.
5. Press the $5 button and place the bill into the hod in stacks of 10 at a time.  Once you are done counting the $5, remove the money from the hod and the machine will advance to the next highest denomination.
6. Enter any non-cash items under their category by pressing the <other cash> key.
7. To start another count press the <clear> button twice and press the <1c> button to begin another count.

Zeroing Till Cup Weight:

Press the <MENU> button twice or until the “Starting bank” or “Till Cup” options are displayed.

1. Key <2> for till cup; “PUT TILL CUP ON SCALE” is displayed
2. Place an empty till cup on the cash tray
3. “PRESS $100 KEY” is displayed; press <$100> key
4. “REMOVE TILL CUP FROM SCALE” is displayed; remove till cup
5. The till cup is now programmed into memory.
6. Press key <2> for Free Mode to begin counting.

Quick check to make sure till cup has been programmed properly repeat step 3 under counting a till/register from above.

 Recalibration of Omega A:

Press the <200 c> key and the last key on the coin row at the same time. The machine will say “ENTER PASSCODE”. Press 1241 on the key pad.

1. Press the desired denomination you want to calibrate.
2. Put 100 of the desired loose coin into the hod.  (DO NOT PLACE THE COIN IN THE COIN SCOOP)
3. Remove the coin from the hod
4. Press the next denomination you want to calibrate and repeat steps 3-4
5. Press the enter key.
